SANCTUARY CONCEPT, DESIGN AND EXECUTION
The Holy Redeemer Church, Belthangady, entrusted Simon Art Co for the designing and the execution of the sanctuary work for its new church. Right from the High Altar depicting the resurrection of Christ with a wall painting of God the Father and the Angels, to the magnificent Altar Table and Grand Ambo made of highly polished Omani Marble.
The aisles are adorned with the Stations of the Cross and 20 Mysteries of the Holy Rosary in Bas-relief style made of fibreglass.

THE 40' HIGH GRAND HIGH ALTAR
THE 40' HIGH GRAND HIGH ALTARRight from the get-go, this Church was envisioned to be extraordinary & unique. Simon Art Co was entrusted to create a one-of-a-kind piece, and we delivered on all fronts beginning with a magnificent 20' crucifix, with 10 parables in bas-relief on either side, with a relief of God the Father, with Mother Mary & John the Baptist on his side, flanked by 12 Apostles and the Angels. The Dome ceiling was covered in clouds made out of fibreglass.The Altar Table was also a unique piece, shaped after a Chalice. The Grand Ambo has the 4 Evangelists on its face, all in Vietnamese White marble, and Granite.

THE TRADITIONAL HIGH ALTAR
When the new Church was built in 1988, the Sanctuary was adorned with just a Crucifix on the wall. When the renovation of the Sanctuary was considered in 2017, we were entrusted to recreate the traditional High Altar which the parishioners felt, was sorely missed. We took extra care of the design and delivered a piece that surpassed the parishioners' expectations.
The High Altar is adorned with the Calvary scene, Holy Spirit, St Joseph, Assumption of Mary, Dead Saviour, and the 12 Disciples. The old Tabernacle was refabricated with a Canopy and housing.

THE TWO-SIDED STATUE OF THE HOLY REDEEMER
This church had a unique proposal, to have a 12' statue anchored on its dome, which was at a height of 105 feet, and be visible as the front-of-the-statue when viewed from both the front and the back!
We gleefully accepted the challenge and materialised the concept, just as the party had envisioned. We at Simon Art Co love challenges like these that break the norms of the 'ordinary'.

TRADITIONAL HIGH ALTAR
Traditional High Altars are coming back, and the parishioners at Fajir wanted one that was most suited for their new church.
We adapted the sequence of Birth, Death, and Resurrection of Christ, for the High Altar, and a bas-relief work of the Last Supper, in traditional colours, for the face of the Altar Table.

ALTAR TABLE, TABERNACLE, SANCTUARY ART PAINTING
The Holy Cross Church constructed in 1873, was due for a retouch and refinish. Simon Art Co was commissioned to design and execute a new Altar Table in Vietnamese White Marble, Lectern Stand, along with retouching and refinishing of the High Altar and Sanctuary with art painting. The job also included designing and building of housing for the Tabernacle.
