St Roch
The pilgrim saint, with his staff, gourd and faithful dog at his side.
About this statue
St Roch was a pilgrim from Montpellier who nursed plague victims in Italy in the 14th century. He is called on against plague and disease, and his feast falls on 16 August.
A dog is said to have brought him bread while he lay ill, which is why the dog stands at his feet. Ours shows him in a brown pilgrim's robe and dark cape, with the staff and gourd of his journey.

- Colours
- Any statue can be made in any colour, for indoors or outdoors: in a natural finish (in colour) or a stone finish (one colour, such as white or marble).
