St Andrew the Apostle

The first apostle Jesus called, and the brother who brought Peter to him.

About this statue

Andrew was a fisherman, and a disciple of John the Baptist before he followed Jesus. He then went to find his brother Simon Peter (John 1). Tradition says he was crucified on an X-shaped cross at Patras in Greece, and that is why the cross is his sign. His feast falls on 30 November.

He stands with a long beam of his cross at his side and a scroll in his other hand.

This is one of the twelve 11-foot apostles made for the facade of the Gunadala Matha Shrine, Vijayawada.

Sizes
From 3 feet upwards, made to order. Some designs start at 4 feet, so please ask us to confirm.

Fibreglass (FRP), sculpted and painted by hand in our studio in Mangalore.
Colours
Any statue can be made in any colour, for indoors or outdoors: in a natural finish (in colour) or a stone finish (one colour, such as white or marble).

Every statue is made from scratch. We give a timeline with the quotation, and orders are taken first come, first served.
Delivery
Collect it from the studio, or we send it by road anywhere in India. Outside India, ask us about delivery.
